With VoIP a converged data and voice network is available. Architecture basic VoIP delivers cost effective solutions for your business or enterprise. Architecture is a high level design which addresses business requirements.

The separate networks that are used include an infrastructure that is switched through a circuit, and is widely used for voice transmissions. The circuit switched infrastructure is made up of PBX-Private exchange VOIP systems and was linked with the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).

The other network is made up of a VOIP architecture that was used for packet data transmissions. This VOIP architecture could either be connected over a wide locality through the wide area network or to a limited locality through the local area network.
