Everyone has probably used the prepaid phone cards and noted that they have been ripped off unsuspectingly. This is because most of the prepaid card dealers are unscrupulous and are out to make money out of the uncouth venture.
A dealer will always assure you that he or she charges at a call per minute rate and yet not discloses to you any hidden charges. The reason why the prepaid card dealers charge extra fees is because they have to keep your account active in their systems. International calls are another area that people need to be ware of scams. Dealers have different rates of charging international calls some are fair but others take advantage of the term ‘international’ and charge expensively. Some other providers charge the prepaid card on someone’s cell phone which is wrong. To be on the safe side inquire about the prepaid card you are buying.
