By cooldude | February 5, 2012
Broadband and dial up are the ways to get an internet connection. When internet first came into use in the early 90’s, dial up connection was generally used for accessing to the internet. It was in the year 2000; broadband brought a significant change in the online world. Internet is being connected through a phone line in dial up service. Broadband is definitely improvised where the internet is being connected through satellite, telephone line or cable and the speed is much higher compared to that of dial up connections.
While using the dial up connection whenever we connect to the internet we have to pay the charges of a local call. The phone line also remains engaged when we use the internet connection whereas in the case of broadband we can use both the phone and internet connection simultaneously. Security on the other hand it is better in dial up connection.
